The National Homelessness Law Center hosts the workgroup, but the workgroup itself is member-led, meaning any member can suggest or pursue a project within the four priorities mentioned above. We are an intergenerational group, made up of young people, adult allies, folks with lived experience of homelessness and poverty, and those without. The group does not have a hierarchy or top-down decision-making structure – meetings are facilitated by a small but mighty admin team and decision-making is primarily consensus-based via discussion or anonymous polls.
